Just heard this On TV .


Terry going to be talking about how people walk across the road rather then talk to someone with a Dementia, on the news today on ITV .


With the help of the Alzheimer's society his bring dementia out of the shadows .

Thanks for pointing this out Margarita.

I heard him on the Today programme on Radio 4 this morning, so it looks like a full-on media blitz today.

I look forward to viewing the video's on the Alzheimer's Society's web site later at home (online video is a no-no where I work).

I've just watched it, and I think Terry Pratchett (another TP:)) is doing a brilliant job.

He's quite right, we have to learn to stand up and shout to get the powers that be to take notice.

Well done TP!

Thanks for the Daily Mail link Sandy. It makes for very interesting reading. Hurrah for Terry Pratchett, who can so elequently describe his thoughts on living day-to-day with his early onset AZ. This must certainly increase public awareness of dementia
