That's great news, SF! If it's any consolation to you, my MIL also has moments of confusion when she says "I ought to be going now", as if she is visiting us in the care home, rather than the other way round! She has been there for 18 months now, and to be honest, I don't think she will ever acknowledge the home as "home" for her. The fact that she is content, most of the time, is good enough. It has to be.
