dementia differences

hi, im new to all this, not used to asking for advice etc.
i help look after my elderly mum whos bed bound.
finally 6 months ago, mum was diagnosed with dementia, i was told vascular and alcohol related, today one of the carers said she was told its behavioural....

im still trying to understand and deal with mum changing, but was just wondering and curious to know does she have behavioural dementia or is it all the same.

Sounds to me like a very confused carer. Perhaps you can direct her to this websites fact sheet to enlighten her.

thankyou for your replies. im just doubting all i do for mum. it seems tricky to know how to help someone in the early stages...x
