Hi my husband was diagnosed just over 12 months ago with Alzheimer’s at aged 66. I am 61. Most of the time we are ok though over the past few weeks he is becoming more distant, grumpy, now sleeps in a different room. It is like living with a stranger.
How do you cope?

Hi @Louise G and welcome to posting on the Forum. Living with and caring for a person with Alzheimer's Disease is hard. Challenges change over time with the progression of the disease. Different circumstances and different people mean that no 2 experiences are alike, but the members of our community have a vast array of knowledge and will do our best to support you.

We don't we just silently scream in our heads, smile at our loved one and get on with, that and post on here where people understand what it's like. Rant away.
Easy for me to say, sat here on my boat alone since mother nature made me redundant as a carer. Please feel free to rant away. K
