The Innovation team at Alzheimer’s Society are running an innovation sprint on diagnosis and would be interested in speaking to anyone that are willing to share their experience.

These sprint projects last between 3-6 months and during this time the team will interview people affected by dementia and professionals, to gain ground level insights and themes on the different topics. The team then aim to have a product, service or recommendation at the end of each sprint.

To help the innovation team to do this, they need to understand what’s working well and also explore the reasons why people living with dementia may:

- never receive a diagnosis,

- receive a diagnosis late,

- receive an inaccurate diagnosis

- have a poor diagnosis experience.

The team usually meet on Microsoft Teams or Zoom with individuals for up to 1 hour and can anonymise any comments that you make. If a telephone call is your preference, please just let them know.

If you are available between the 26th October to 18th November and interested in taking part, please email the team directly at: innovation@alzheimers.org.uk
