3000 started, around 10 finished (I think these stats are more or less correct, apologies if they're not - I heard by word of mouth). But it shows the enormity of the undertaking.
Sharon G finished in a gruelling 22 hour walk, footsore but happy and having raised a substantial sum for Alzheimer's. She's trained for months in her spare time, paid for her own costs from Scotland to London - and signed up again for next year!
I'd just like to acknowledge her efforts here and to thank her publicly. She's a wonderful nurse who really cares for her patients and will always go the extra mile (or 100k!) for them. Definitely one in a million.
Well done Sharon!
