Thanks everyone. John has still got a cough, and he fell out of bed again last night -- no damage. He's now got crash mats either side of his bed.

But there's a huge improvement overall. His eyes are clear, he's trying to talk, and he laughs when people talk to him.

Best of all, he held up his face for a kiss when I went in. It's a long time since he did that!

I hope it continues!

Dear Hazel,
Eric is Derbyshire born and bred....but...apparently there were some "wanderings" way back in the early 1900s

I think they both look like Viking Warriors

Hazel-the sad part of this is that the Eric is you see on that photo is not the Eric I have now.
But I feel he is responding to having me around-my joy at being released from my chains is infectious at the moment!!!!

Hope John is still ok and responding to your love.
