The Social Care Institute for Excellence has produced a series of short training videos on the subject of working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people. There is one specifically related to LGBT's and care homes. All can be downloaded free of charge from www.scie.org.uk/socialcaretv

Thanks for finding this information Roger. I have to admit the stories portrayed by the individuals in the videos were excellent and very informative. They are a real eye opener and even as a gay man with a Partner who has dementia I learned an awful amount about caring and meeting needs. Highly recommended viewing whatever your sexuality, disability or experience.
