Wondering what happens next

Hello again all, hope you're all doing okay. My nan is getting by as best she can at the moment - we Skype every week and had a window visit last week. Apparently we'll be allowed to visit her from next week!

Just a quick q - I had a call from a new social worker today saying that he was going to review her care today with the home and we should talk properly about his findings tomorrow. I just wanted to know is a care review something that just happens every now and again or should I be concerned? I had no idea it was coming so my mind is racing. Thanks all.

I've had a few care review calls from Social Services or the Mental Health Nurse for my husband, who is in a nursing home. They don't call as often now, and I think they said after the 6 month review that the calls to me may now be annual. I think they are just following a process that requires routine checks that care needs are being met.
