My partner's father (64) has dementia & has gradually (well not that gradually) being getting worse. He has now reached the point where he can't be left on his own which is obviously causing problems for his wife & daughters.
I need to know what help is available...he currently goes to a home 3/4 days a week but basically it's a sh1th0le. What options do we have? We don't wanna see him in a home until there is absolutely no other option & we haven't reached that stage yet (& hopefully it will be a long time until we do).
What financial help is available..if someone say quit work to look after him?
