Hi everyone, and welcome to the LGBT+ area of Dementia Support Forum!

Things to know:

• This is a place for people who identify as LGBT+ who are affected by any form of dementia, and for their carers.
• Dementia Support Forum encourages all members to be anonymous to allow for an honest and open discussion without concerns over being identified.
• If you're worried about being identified, or you'd like to change your username, please contact the Dementia Support Forum Team at dementiasupportforum@alzheimers.org.uk. We're here to help.

Get started - creating a new thread

1. When you're in the 'LGBT people with dementia and carers' forum, look for the blue "Post New Thread" button at the top of the forum page.

2. To start a discussion, type a title, add your message and choose 'Post Thread'.

Get started - adding to an existing thread

1. When you're in the LGBT forum, you will see a list of threads. Clicking into a thread will let you read the discussion taking place.

2. To reply to an existing discussion, scroll to the bottom of the thread until you see a text box. Type your reply in here and click 'post reply'
