I have just installed a ring doorbell that is the brand name. It is linked via Wi-Fi to my phone and laptop and has a camera triggered by motion or if someone presses the button and also you can speak to the person. So this could be useful for relatives who don't live with the pwd or who do. It was very easy to set up. I used to lock the door with a deadlock key and am having to get a different lock for the new door so I can do this again. Mother though does not know how to use the door chain so this is what I am using in the meantime also.
