I am looking at replacing mum's bath with a walk in mobility shower. Can anyone recommend a good nationwide company or one in Berkshire area? She is in a terraced house with downstairs bathroom at back of house. Thanks.

I actually went entirely the opposite route
I'd seen a van outside a neighbour's house and asked if they'd done a good job - they had - so I got them in - lovely men who really took care around dad - they did a good job - and added bonus, as they are a local small firm I've been able to call on them for small jobs and one emergency (it turned out it was easy to fix, thank goodness) - because they knew me and dad's situation they fitted us in quickly - and were genuinely surprised when I wanted to tip them.
so maybe worth asking around friends for a recommendation
Good luck with it - definitely worth doing!

Do not get a walk in shower if you can afford to have a wetroom

The disabled living foundation do info sheets on showers and bathing

which are very helpful. There is a specialist supplier in Leeds which has room set ups of different bathrooms. Was very helpful if persuading mother in law away from a walk in bath.
