This was interesting but too short. At least it was giving necessary airtime to discussion of dementia. There were about a dozen people, 'experts', dementia sufferers and their carers. Wendy Mitchell, author of this month's book club choice (https://forum.alzheimers.org.uk/thr...o-know-by-wendy-mitchell.107639/#post-1506449) was there and was very articulate.

I missed the programme, but the story on the bbc website was pretty good in the way it highlighted what the people featured did and were like before dementia struck.

Thank you for the link @nae sporran. The people featured in the article were all in the programme. I didn't realise that they had all been interviewed 3 years previously. It's so heartbreakingly sad to see the deterioration. I do think at a certain stage, life is harder for the carer than for the person cared for. What a cruel, cruel disease.
