Hi, I posted recently about my concern that had I done the right thing about organising a buffet tea party for 15 relatives and friends in a kind friend's bungalow. Well, it went very well. Mum was magnificent-pretty lucid most of the time. ate well from the delicious buffet, cut her cake and even had a small glass of champagne.- I was so pleased that everyone was able to share in such a great achievement of reaching 90 and it was worth the anticipatory anxiety on my behalf. I took her back to her care home just after 8 p.m after a lovely time.
