Spoke to the home today and mum is still not eating or drinking much. They are monitoring her,but are concerned. I've given them ideas of food she might eat after the nurse asked last week also finger food.. Dad can/ won't understand that it is now calories and it doesn't matter if she doesn't eat a proper meal. He is old school in the food dept. She will be weighed this week. She is 94 in Nov.
Father in law is still in respite and there is a meeting with hubby's stepmum today with SS to see if he can come home. He still can't walk/ stand, not eating much. She has MS is mobility is very much reduced. They are talking about carers 2- four times a day for hubby's dad and also speaking about a permanent catheter for him. She really wants him home. I feel he will be better staying in a home. Difficult situation. Will find out later what is happening.
