Unusual habits

My OH has dementia and is always winding his watch. I told him it didn't have to be wound as it's got a battery but now I just let him carry on. Another thing he does when laying the table is lining things up like the table mats, knives and forks, keeps adjusting them to make it all square. I have learnt to go with the flow over the years since this disease arrived.

Agreed. Sometimes it's easier to just let things go. I do. Unless whatever is being done is dangerous or has long term negative repercussions it's just 'Meh ..... OK, whatever'. Saying (or even thinking) that makes me feel like I'm a teenager. :)
