I know things will change for the worse and I will probably look back and think I wish MIL could talk or do things she used to
Over the 8 months she has lived with us she has deteriorated more than I had realised. Going away was an eye opener. It was dire.
What would help is if the other family members would do more but that will never happen.
Her Grandson visited on last Saturday and there was lots of bazaar behaviour but MIL rose to the occasion. He will be coming with his girlfriend in a few weeks for a meal. I hope he is prepared.
How is it they can rise to certain occasions??? Why can she not keep it up for us i.e. eat fairly nicely?
