I am in a state of confusion most of the time caused by Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia. I forget things within one second . The GP says it will get worse. Please, what can I do?

hello @Create08
I wonder whether you might chat with your GP or any other GP at the practice and ask about meds you might try and also about diet as eating healthily won't do any harm
keep posting here and members will be as helpful as we can be
you might have a look at the main AS site which has lots of info - the blue button at the very top right of this page will take you there
and if you feel like chatting with someone, there's the Helpline; the advisors there are very approachable and knowlegeable

Hello @Create08.

I see from your other posts you have close family around you. Please let them know the kind of help you will accept as things deteriorate.

Now is the time you can make decisions which will help in the future.

Do you have a Lasting Power of Attorney [LPA] in place. This will enable someone you trust, your wife and your brothers, to be able to make health, welfare and financial decisions for you in your best interests.
