Too late to register PoA?

My mum signed the PoA forms 2 months ago when she most definitely had the capacity to do so but for one reason or another (my illness and mainly) I haven't registered them yet. Tomorrow is the SS meeting and capacity assessment and due to her recent, severe decline, I would be amazed if she's considered to stll have capacity, so is it kow too late for me to go ahead with the PoA?

You can, and should, register the completed LPA(s) with the OPG immediately.

No, not too late. We did exactly that for our mum. There was a good six months between mum signing and us registering the forms. There was no problem at all, but it does take a couple of months for the forms to be returned from the OPG, so do it asap.

I think the point is that she had capacity at the time of signing, even if she doesnt now. So you can register it.
