Thank you everyone, It is so lovely to read your kind words.

Gently guiding myself through all the administration, to be honest, I appreciate the distraction.

The problem is that once your life has been consumed by being a carer to someone with Alzheimers, you feel like a spare part once they leave you. VERY early days I know.

Been to see the funeral director and am astounded at how fully booked they are...I often wondered whether statistically there are more deaths in the winter months.
