The dementia guide is an Alzheimer's Society publication for anyone who has recently been told they have dementia. This could be any type of dementia, such as Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia or mixed dementia.

The guide will also be useful to close friends and family of someone with dementia, as it contains information for anyone taking on a caring role.

The guide contains information about dementia, treatments for dementia, and about the support that is available, both from Alzheimer's Society and from other organisations. There is also information about how to get involved with dementia research, and things to think about when planning ahead.

The dementia guide is available to read or download via the Alzheimer's Society website, and hard copies can also be ordered by clicking >>here<<.
