Hi,

I saw this article on the Best of Health. It says that 1 in 79 people in the UK have Alzheimers, which seems like a lot.

At the end it talks about a drug being trialled in America which could eventually help to treat Alzhemers. Does anyone know anything more about this?

Hello BFUK. Welcome to TP
Sorry you have not had any replies yet which is most unusual.
I haven't had a chance to look up the link yet.
back in a mo

I wouldn't be at all surprised about the figure quoted personally I feel it might be conservative.

Is this the link to the article you spoke about

Some of trials are done in several countries.
If you are interested in one , it might be a good idea to talk to the Consultant .
