Before I found this space I really thought I was the only one in the uk,perhaps the world, caring for someone with Vascular Dementia, the odd repetitive behaviour and lots more, really shocked me. I posted about some of this behaviour and how confused I was and wham the replies with similar stories gave me some comfort and made things easier for me to understand mum and this terrible illness. I get a strange mix of sadness and comfort from this site and although never met any of these wonderful people I always put time aside to check in and see how everyone is doing.
