I've done some form of volunteering through my life, often simply standing wearing a silly yellow hat and holding out a collecting tin

But the level of volunteering happening right now is astounding... so many people thinking of ways to help others and putting themselves out to give support
so much kindness and caring

to all volunteers

I agree - in my borough alone there has been a fantastic response from volunteers - and they are definitely making a difference.

More than 600 volunteers have already signed up to a new volunteer hub developed by the local voluntary service and local authority. It is really great to see.
