Telehealth for Vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease - bad idea?

My dad is 86 and has vascular dementia with poss. Alzheimer's. He has carers come in the morning and get him ready. But I can't get the agency, which I have to fund privately . I can't get the same agency that visits dad in the morning to do evening visits and get him ready for bed. I live in London and he lives in Oxford. In desperation, I booked telelhealth phone call but I think that is a bad idea for his night meds (a herbal sleeping pill and anti histamine) as he is now aware of the request of the voice on the phone. has anyone used any good telehealth services? Or do you find it just not suited to dementia patients

I wouldn`t use a telephone service with a dementia paerson who lives alone. I would rather use two agencies.

I found an excellent agency and they might have a branch in your area. However the agency is a Franchise so has different owner/managers in different areas so I couldn`t possibly take responsibility for the efficiency of the one in your area.

I will PM the link.
