No Tom, it is not the end of your caring role, it's the beginning of others sharing the responsibility with you, to give Sylvia the best care possible.
I do know how upsetting this is, how empty the house will seem but there are positives as well as negatives. You may not appreciate them now but I hope you will in the future.
