Hi

I am sorry Coventry is overloaded with dementia cases.
But Bel, that is not your problem, your problem is ONE dementia case, your husband!

It is not good enough to make the excuses of overloaded services, unfortunately again, it is a case of he who shouts loudest.

What would happen if you contacted SS and told them that you were no longer going to care for your husband? Not that you would contemplate doing that for minute, but lets pretend, I bet they would soon have a care package and help in place.

Sometimes an exaggeration works, but maybe if you don't get help with care, it won't be an exaggeration.

Phone SS everyday, exaggerate things, cry if you have to.

I hope you get the help you need and deserve

Love
Alfjess

Dear Bel,

I agree with Sylvia and alfjess, Bel, just keep on their backs you have managed along time without any help and you need it now and are entitled to it. Keep pestering them. As Sylvia and alfjess said, DAILY!! Good Luck Taffy.
