    could someone please explain to me what is meant by "sundowning" Sorry to be a bit thick! :confused:

    I'm sure that lots of us didn't know this term until reading about it on TP (so you're not thick!) Here is a previous discussion about this:

    There is an explanation in the Fact sheet about 'Later stagesof dementia' but we experienced these episodes quite early on with my Dad.
