Stroke like symptoms

My father who has onset Alzheimer's (Lewis bodies) and in a morning has had several bouts of stroke like symptoms. No control of bowels limbs etc. Has anyone ever come across this before. The hospital has done tests and so far can only advise he needs a pacemaker

If someone has Lewey Body Dementia they often get Parkinsons with it. This can cause tremors, stiffness, incontinence etc although it is not constant - the symptoms come and go.
Is this possibly what you are seeing?

Yes as it is not there all the time
