Hi all,

On Saturday a friend and I completed the 26 mile Stonehenge Trek. We travelled up from Devon and had a lovely day. The last 5 miles were really hard i finished in tears and both our feet were covered in blisters! So far, collectively we have raised £936 for Alzheimer's Society. So many people have kindly donated and id like to give them an idea of what that money can do within the society. What will that buy and how will it help. I've been trying to find factsheets but no luck so far. Does anybody reading this have any information?

Thank you x

Well done, I only managed that kind of distance when I did the Pennine way years ago, but what would put me off is the AZ Society cut, from their website -
"Registration Fee: £35 Fundraising Target: There is no minimum sponsorship but we ask you to aim for at least £260"
Sounds very commercial, charging you a fee and giving you a target, just as well it's a charity not a business or is it?
