Hi All
Sorry for not replying to previous posts, I will try to catch up, but for some reason I was logged of and couldn't post.
I couldn't remember my password, because I have always had the remember me box ticked, so didn't need it anytime, I logged on to TP.
I tried the forgotten password link but received no reply.
I was beginning to think that I had been suspended for something, though couldn't think what.
Never mind, everything is sorted now.
Update
Mum has still been very agitated over the weekend, but when I visited to-day, she wasn't hyperventillating, but couldn't sit down. No sooner had we sat in her room, dayroom. dining room than she was on the move again.
Lorazepam has been prescribed when needed. I think it has been needed often.
I would think anyone looking at Mum now could tell she had dementia and that wasn't the case about 6 weeks ago.
Mum is being inappropiate with the male patients. I think, looking for comfort, like my Dad would have given her. Unfortunately the male patients don't appreciate her hugs.
Amazing how fast things can go downhill.
Have spent a couple of days with Dad as well.
He isn't so tired, but is very confused, because he has no one to follow. Mum led him about the care home and he is peering at female residents, again I think looking for Mum
I am wondering at the moment when Mum and Dad will get some peace from this horrible disease
Love
