I found this site and thought it would be of help to some of you. It is reports of the social services in England by regions. It includes nursing homes etc www.csci.org.uk. Hope it helps

Thanks for this. My Dad will have to go into a care home and this is very helpful.

On a lighter note I have written to my MP, have had an acknowledgement but not a reply!!
