Sleepy ...

Hi again all
My dad who has Alzheimer's seems to be increasingly just sitting there with his eyes closed Says he's not tired & seems ok if he's out & about ... I guess this could be a symptom of Alzheimer's but trying to encourage mum to take him to docs just to be sure it's not the drugs or something else making him 'tired' ..... has anyone else experienced this?

Yep. MIL spends much of the morning and afternoon snoozing. She did this when she was in her flat too

Yes my husband is the same. I have had him to the doctor several times about this. He's had blod tests and so on and there's nothing obvious wrong with him. I think it's partly the Alzheimer's but I think partly the meds he's on. Everything seems to list drowsiness as a side effect!

I think it wouldn't do any ham to have your dad checked out and discuss it with the GP.
