Alzheimer’s Society’s Innovation team is working with Santander to understand the challenges that people affected by dementia face when it comes to banking.

We know that there are already daily difficulties for people in this area, and now more than ever due to the coronavirus pandemic. We have had to change how we carry out some of our routine activities, including visits to the bank, using telephone and online banking and other banking services.

Help us to understand people’s experiences so we can find the best solutions, together.

Log on to the Innovation Hub now and tell us the banking challenges that you are facing.
Comment on other people's suggestions and vote on which ones are most important to you.

If you haven’t registered on the Innovation Hub, it’s pretty straightforward. You can register > here < using the ‘register’ button in the top right-hand corner. After that you can click the large blue button that says ‘click here to join in’ and then select the banking and dementia challenge. You can post a challenge that you think we should tackle, and/or vote and comment on other people’s challenges. We’ll then select one to take forward and we will co-create a solution to improve the experience of banking for people affected by dementia.

The call for challenges closes on 27th November.

Happy voting!
