seizures and dementia?

Can I just remind posters that this thread was started in 2007 so many if not all of the situations described are now different.

Dear Rue - As a rule it can be better to start a new thread rather than post to an old thread. I know that some forums frown on this but on the whole we prefer it since it is less confusing.

My husband has seizures and was told he had epilepsy before he was told he had vascalar dementia so i think it gos hand in hand
