Mum has been home two days from being in respite.
I anticipated her being a little confused, but she appears to have lost some of her language, instead making noises.
Worryingly, when I returned from the school run this afternoon, mum was talking with a stranger at the bottom of the drive.
The lady said mum was wandering up and down the road, and asked her when I was coming home.
I thanked her for keeping with mum, we walked back up the drive, and the front door was open.
Should I lock her in when I leave the house in future? Other suggestions if you have any?
