We picked a lovely place for our mum to have a holiday while I am away in Sydney. I rang our CPN to give her our choice from the list she sent me. the dates etc. I took mum for lunch the other week. They chatted with us, and did the assessment and are happy to have her stay. Our CPN said I would have something to sign. As this is our first time of having respite, not sure quite what the process is now. I know that we are allowed 4 weeks respite time. The extra week and a half on top, our council might need to do another assessment for mum. They did one in Feb last, so its up to them, if they decide they want another one. Money wise the amount mum has in her account has not really changed. That's up to them. Its 3 weeks since this was put into motion.
