It has been decided that Dad needs some time and so Mum should go into respite care.
Social Services are visiting today but in the meantime I have had a very quick look into it with regards to the funding.
It seems that over a certain level of savings the residential care has to be funded 100% by the carer & family.
I haven't yet looked into my parents private health cover but just wondering if anyone knows if private health plans generally cover this or not?
