It might seem early, but our Press team is starting to think about its Christmas media campaign. This year, the theme is isolation and loneliness.

When you're affected by dementia, Christmas can bring challenges such as being unable to get out and join in the season's festivities, often leading to feelings of loneliness. The Press team are hoping to speak to people who are willing to tell them about how this feels for them, but also about how these feelings may have been alleviated through engaging with Alzheimer's Society's services.

For example, perhaps you have regularly visited a service and as a result, you have been able to build friendships with people who you can spend time with over Christmas. Or perhaps through joining a support group, you have learnt a new skill or hobby.

The Press team are looking for people who would be happy to share their experiences with the national print, broadcast and online media.

If the above sounds like you or someone close to you, then they would love to hear from you.
