Red Cross Carer's Emergency Card

My LA has just introduced this scheme.
The carer carries the card and if they have an accident or are unwell anybody helping/treating the carer can ring the Red Cross number, quote the reference on the card and the Red Cross will then coordinate help for the person cared for.

The LA obviously have to sign up to the scheme for it to work.

We have the scheme as well though it has nothing to do with the Red Cross here.

We have similar scheme, but county Carers, not Red Cross.
