I dont know if this is already posted, I am slightly alarmed by the research that came out a few weeks ago by a German company. That researched that 40 per cent of people on omeprazole and lansoprazole and other similar drugs get Alzhiemers. Well I take this drug, mum took it too but no longer needs it, I have a feeling mum in law was on a ppi drug too and FIL.
I have stopped mine but getting awful burning and a choking feeling in my throat.
Do I choke and feel uncomfortable or risk Alzheimers? Think I will choke, but dont want the burn to give me throat cancer.
Your thoughts please.
