Problems with Search

I have been trying to search for previous posts on a new medication Mum has been put on. In both basic and advanced search it takes for ever and the only result I seem to get is an error message saying Files too large to load.

Is this a known temporary blip?

PS - doing search on an Android Tablet (Jellybean OS) and using the website not the appp.

I'm sorry to hear you've had problems using search.

I've tried searching using my desktop and using my android smartphone (web not app) and haven't had any problems.

A few questions - Was it an error message from Talking Point saying 'files too large to load'? Were you just typing something in up the top and hitting search, or were you using the advanced search? Have you had problems searching on other websites?

I'm hoping it's a temporary problem but happy to look into it if you continue to have problems

Try using google to search the forum

To search for memantine do a google on

site:forum.alzheimers.org.uk memantine

As usual enclose in " for exact phrase and - to exclude

You can also use Boolean syntax

AND - assumed
OR - OR ( you can substitute | for OR )

Alternatively you can use
http://www.google.com/advanced_search
just put the forum URL in 'site or domain'
