Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping well.
I hope you don't mind but I wanted to share my poems with you. When I'm having "one of my moments" which is quite often at the moment having just lost Mum I say these poems in my head & they have become like little personal prayers to my mum & dad which somehow makes me feel a bit better.
My Darling Mum
While you were sleeping
The Angels came
And gently took your hand
They saw you had been struggling with
Things you no longer understand.
God had a place in Heaven
For an Angel just like you
And Dad was there with open arms
He was welcoming you too
I never wanted to loose you mum
But I could see that it was time
So I’ll hold you tight in my broken heart
Forever you will be mine
I love you mum and I miss you so
But it’s your turn now to play
With Angels up in Heaven
Until we meet again one day

God gave me a Father & Dad that wonderful man was you
But He forgot to mention that one day He would need you too
I don't know how to heal this terrible pain I have now in my heart
But with treasured memories of you darling dad
We will never really be apart

I feel you near me every day
But this forever longing to see you again
