The local branches of Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer Scotland are very much on the ball about this. It's one of their first recommendations on referral, and our branch holds regular talks by solicitors.
But that doesn't help people who don't have a convenient branch, don't like 'organisations', are not computer literate........
I agree, it's a subject that needs more publicity. I suspect that the medical profession would say that it's a legal matter, and they can't impinge.
