POA and Banks BBC Money Box 3pm

Just listening to Radio 4 and they have announced they are now taking calls for the 3 pm programme regarding problems with banking when relatives have POA's in place.

Interesting programme but not much there I didn't know already.

I do agree B!

The people on the programme seemed to skim over problems and offer little good solutions except to pay out - pay out pay out!!

The whole system of POA needs to be simplified and made much, much cheaper with clear steps of how to achieve this with the least stress and costs, especially when dementia sets in swiftly and prevents early anticipation of what is to come.
