Well Done Terry

I have never understood why the mobility problems experienced by those with dementia are not recognized as significant.

I have signed both petitions.

Thanks for this, Terry..

All duly signed and forwarded.

Am currently applying for a blue badge for my husband..it's another task to complete..and not straightforward..
A shame it couldn't be issued automatically...:(

Grateful thanks for your efforts.:)

Love gigi xx

I am glad someone else has pick up on this issue .

As when we moved in to another property because my mother could not do the 2 flights of stirs to my council house , they could not allocate us into a property that was adapted already for someone with mobility disability .

But would rather give it to someone with a walking stick , but not with a mental disability .

Its like they don't think people with dementia have a mobility disability .

Thanks to all you wonderful petition signers!

There are over 70 people already signed up but we still have a long way to to go to challenge the discrimination against dementia sufferers and their carers in the provision of mobility benefits.
We will have to keep pushing these issues and e-mail ALL contacts and organisations who might be sympathetic.
