Client consistently tapping on surfaces, vtabkes, kitchen tops, fridge etc. Even when going out or visiting people. Tried giving her something to hold, sge becomes annoyed and throws it aside. Even tried massaging her hand, doesn't help. Client often talks about going to work, needs to catch up on let's, open letters. She has gotten dressed a few times to go work and had to be stopped just before leaving the front door. The gets into an agitated panic. Wgat can I consider or do to ease distress here?

"Going to work"
Give her a pile of old letters, bills, reciepts to file, in date order/alphabetically.

Do you know what mode of transport your client used to use to go to work ? If so try accompanying her on its and do a round trip to home, with other activities to do when getting back.
Hope this helps,
