Hi all,

My dad (aged 55) has just been diagnosed with behavioural radiant fronteporal dementia (picks disease).

He has been advised by the neorologist that he will never be able to return to work and drive.

I know one of the first things for my mum to do it to obtain power of attorney however has anybody had any experience of where to start in regards to my dad retiring or leaving work on medical grounds?

I have so many questions I would like to ask of someone who is going through this with a lived one at such a young age.

Many thanks
Nat x
