Photo shown isn't one that opens, help please

I always save my photos in 'My pictures' on my laptop.

Problem - When I open the photo shown as a thumbnail on screen in 'My pictures' a competely different one appears.

Any ideas about what is causing this and if it can be put right please?

Thanks Sylvia, its very strange hope someone can help. I'm going to try downloading some more photos to see if it happens again
